I'm Sharilyn and this is our spooky so we're kind of doing a little minisode this week ⁓ this should be coming out on the beginning of October and we were just really excited to talk about spooky stuff because we is actually our second time recording this yesterday when we hopped on. Yeah.

Cady Moore (00:47) we gonna tell them? we gonna let them peek behind the curtain? We're re-recording

this episode. Because we recorded a full hour and a half long episode on Tuesday. It's Thursday right now. ⁓ And got to the end of it and we just had tech issues and so it didn't upload Sharilyn's half of the recording. So it was just me talking to myself for now.

It was really funny when I was rewatching it back. It was really cute to see you like listening so intently and then be like, yeah, just like, yes. So we've managed to fix that. Yeah.

Cady Moore (01:46) So today, What's in my passenger seat is totally different, which is fun. ⁓ I just finished a reread of, I'm literally

it, of this book. It's called The Five. It's by Hallie Rubenhold. And it is a book about the five victims, the canonical five victims of Jack the Ripper. But specifically, it is about, like, it is their lives. So it's five mini biographies. ⁓ And also it is about the

Sharilyn Wester (01:57) Mm-hmm.

Cady Moore (02:16) idea that what Jack the Ripper is most known for is being a killer of sex workers. And of the canonical five, only one of them was actively practicing sex work at the time of her murder. And four of the five or three of the five had never had never had never done sex work at all. It just is that in the 1880s in London, if you were a woman out alone at night, that's that must be why you were out. And it just like,

This is my second time reading it and the first time reading it was I think like two years ago or three years ago now and so I had not started my sex work unveiled class that I offer and so I hadn't done a ton of research into the history of sex work and sex workers and reading it as a historian of sex work, it just hit so different this time. I mean, in the conclusion she cites Brock Turner.

and the way that men are held to, ⁓ well, that women are held to a double standard of needing to be immaculate in order to be worthy of being victims. ⁓ And the idea that like, if you are not feeling shame and guilt about being sexual or being a quote, victim, then you are not a victim at all. And in fact, you are just a, ⁓ it's the Madonna whore complex. So. ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (03:18) Yeah, perfect victim.

Absolutely.

Cady Moore (03:33) super fucking good. I'm incorporating, I'm building a class right now on the history of sex work and I will be direct, I will be referencing this book but ⁓ definitely recommend it. It's fiction, it's non-fiction but it reads like it is fiction. It is so well written and it really like immerses you into the lives of these women and it's just yeah, as someone who at one point had a fun like true crime phase and then realized like

this is kind of exploitative and weird. And this is not me yucking anyone's yum, because like I still have an interest in true crime and like an interest in the macabre. And I just hit this like ethical wall of like, this feels weird and uncomfortable for me. And like, I don't want to be focusing on learning about, yeah, yep. I'm like, I don't want to learn about these, these creepy shitty dudes. Like I'm not interested in them in their lives. I want to know about the women who they killed. Like that's what's interesting to me is celebrating the lives of these people who's

Sharilyn Wester (04:15) The format in which you were learning. Yeah.

Absolutely.

Cady Moore (04:30) whose lives were ended by some fucking incel, you know? so yeah, that's what's in my passenger seat. Literally. It's, it is sitting on the chair next to me. Yeah.

first of all, I want to speak on your point about ⁓ the exploitation of victims and what that means when it comes to ⁓ accessing information about true crime, because I think with a lot of true crime podcasts, of course, no one is going into it wanting to exploit these people or having this idea that they're going to get rich off of other people's pain, but it

Definitely got to a point for me as well where it was really weird hearing like The you know tale after tale of the brutalizing mostly of women as we know ⁓ bookended by like a Casetify ad you know what I mean like it didn't feel that felt yucky you know and so 100 % and so I think books like this that honor the victims and speak on the victims lives in a way that ⁓ Isn't necessarily as exploit

Cady Moore (05:17) Mm-hmm, yeah, women or gay men.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah, dude, totally fair.

Sharilyn Wester (05:37) exploitative ⁓ in a way. think I'm all for that. And I think that true crime is really important. Like you said, this book is about Jack the Ripper, but there's nods in the acknowledgements to Brock Turner. And even in our society, our president is ⁓ obviously someone who has harmed people.

Cady Moore (05:51) Yeah.

Yep, yeah. I'm actually,

trying to remember when I'm looking it up because I feel like this was, yeah, so was 2019. like, but it was, so like Donald Trump had already served four years. So I am interested. She, so she's British. And so I feel like, but yeah, I did think about that. And she does make a comment about politicians and I'm like, she's talking about Donald Trump, but also let's be careful so that the FBI doesn't come for us.

Sharilyn Wester (06:16) Yeah.

Absolutely.

my gosh. No, a hundred percent. ⁓ Mine is the same as it was the other day when we recorded, mostly because it is so all encompassing and consuming and that's D &D. For those who don't know, I think we've mentioned it a couple of times, but I've started DMing my first ever campaign and I've campaigned or I've GMed for other campaigns of other tabletop role playing games and other dice games before.

Cady Moore (06:21) ⁓ What's in your passenger seat, my sweet baby angel?

Sharilyn Wester (06:47) ⁓ And I really, really loved it. And I was always waiting on doing D &D because I was intimidated because it's such a mechanically, ⁓ I don't want to say intense, but ⁓ thorough, ⁓ complex game system, right? There's a lot of nuance to it. There's a lot of specific details. ⁓ And our partner bought me a Dungeon Master's Guide a few years ago for my birthday. And every couple of months he'd check in and be like,

Cady Moore (07:00) complex.

Yeah.

Sharilyn Wester (07:15) Like, are you gonna start it? And I was like, I don't know. I don't know. Stop. Too much pressure. And then finally I was like, you know what? Fuck it. And for everyone who's thinking about DMing, like truly, yes, there is a lot to learn and you'll learn a lot on the way, but just go for it. Go for it. And if you have the right group of people who are understanding and who ultimately just, you you clarify with them in session zero what kind of game they're wanting, like.

you know, if they're wanting a mechanically intensive game or a game that focuses a lot on combat ⁓ versus the, you know, collective storytelling group, ⁓ you know that like, maybe if you're interested in a more RPG heavy ⁓ storytelling campaign, then maybe you need to find a different group. Like what would be the best, most supportive group for you to start DMing so you feel like your most confident selves, because your players will take that from you.

⁓ And I've already learned a lot. Things are going so smoothly. I think we're almost on our 10th session now. And yeah, it's been so fun. There's a lot of really fun things that go into it. The one thing that for all of my players said, in session zero, we went over, okay, well, what do you really wanna do? What do you like about D &D? Do you like the combat? Do you like puzzles? Do you like storytelling? Do you like mystery? What is it?

And the one thing everyone collectively said that they wanted that they haven't really experienced before is a D &D campaign that is they feel really connected to their characters in roleplay. A lot of our players have maybe played casually or have played in games where you're just kind of going in and swinging. ⁓ But everyone across the board said we're interested in a game where we feel really connected to the players. And

I feel the same way, like when I give a shit about my character, I'm showing up every week and I'm making sure and I'm excited, like I think about it in my off time. You know, on some of the campaigns I've played where I'm just, you know, slinging spells and you're just downing monsters and off you go, or maybe there's not as much direction. ⁓ I don't feel as invested in it or necessarily excited, like I'm glad for the aspect to like hang out with buds, but I'm not excited for my place in the game. And so...

⁓ we were lucky enough to do a session this past Sunday. have another session this upcoming Sunday. So this week has been a ton of work into doing that, but it's, good work and it's exciting work. And I love investing in it. And I love the faces you all make Cady plays in, my campaign, our partner, ⁓ her partner, ⁓ we have, and two extra friends are joining us, as well. ⁓ but like Cady's character is so one of my favorites, so fun.

Cady Moore (09:49) Woohoo!

Sharilyn Wester (10:03) ⁓ It's been really, honestly, it's been a joy to see you playing and to see you like step into this character that is like kind of different in a lot of ways than the characters you and I feel drawn to in fantasy, which we talked about fantasy in ⁓ our first ⁓ episode for the season. But it's really cool to see you play a character that's so different than the characters we love and know, ⁓ but also find those gems and those

Cady Moore (10:15) Yep, totally.

Mm-hmm, totally.

Sharilyn Wester (10:32) little nuggets that we cherish and can grow to love in someone who's maybe a little more fragile or doesn't know everything or isn't as sure about themselves. She's just a baby and she leads with her heart and she's really kind of become the heart of our group. mean, her and our other character, Clink, are both kind of the sweet squishy soft babies and are exactly, but that's what gives our group such heart and meaning and

Cady Moore (10:40) She's just a baby! She's just a girl!

We're the softies.

Sharilyn Wester (11:00) And the way that you play your character, I've seen it and it's magic. The way you play your character informs and allows other people to also be vulnerable with their characters in a way that would not have happened if you were not in the group. So I like love that you're part of it. Yeah, exactly. And ⁓ I think the work in it is like, yes, part of it is like my storytelling, but it really is group storytelling. I kind of created the framework for this world.

Cady Moore (11:12) BRAWN BRAWN!

Sharilyn Wester (11:26) and then everyone jumped in and the direction they're going and the choices they make narratively are completely informed by them and therefore informs the story. And then I give them more story based on that. And it's this really cool symbiotic thing that it's just, it's so fun. If you're an ex theater kid, maybe if you're shy, if you're looking for friends, I highly recommend playing D &D. Cause I mean, ultimately it's just getting together and playing make believe with your friends like you were as kids.

Cady Moore (11:53) Thank you.

Sharilyn Wester (11:55) you just have more of a structure to it. And I think that like inner child is through D&D it's a way of accessing that, that is kind of socially acceptable. You know, y'all get to play Kings and Queens and Knights and ladies and there's magic and fairies and, and, and dragons and Dungeons. Monster salmon. had this. Yeah.

Cady Moore (12:04) 100%.

and salmon and monster salmon. We'll do, we'll do it. I think

we should do like a whole, I think we should just do a D &D episode.

Sharilyn Wester (12:24) I agree.

Cady Moore (12:25) So for those of you who are regular listeners, we make like a plan for the season and things shift and change a lot based on our bandwidths. Like this is, we love this, it's a passion project, but like we both live very full lives and so things change. ⁓

One of the things that is so fun about D &D as someone who loves you is getting to see you find a place where you get to let your creativity and your nerd and your like deep dive lore hyperfixate. Like nobody needed a book on lore from Erilea but Elyria think I, I think I, I think I.

Sharilyn Wester (13:26) Elyria

Cady Moore (13:29) is throne of glass. I was like as soon as I said it, I was like, wait, that's the name of class. Anyway, like none of us needed a like physical text about the lore of this place. And you fucking made it like that is so above and beyond. But I think what it is, is that it has become this beautiful place for you to let your nurturing, caregiving, like hosting.

And then the two or three others have been great at their job, but now I'm just like, I'm sorry, ⁓ you didn't make a song specifically for our bard to sing you didn't make a song and give us an NPC bard with,

Sharilyn Wester (14:17) Yeah.

You

didn't write an original piece of music. Yeah, no, it's so true, but it's really the ADHD. I'm, get to throw myself in and because the system allows so much creativity and also we play over discord. So for anyone who's sad that they don't have an in-person group, discord is a great medium. ⁓ you can use tech. It's easier. people are in their homes, so it's a little more accessible. ⁓ and there's a lot you can do creatively.

if we do a D &D episode, I would love to share all of like my tips and tricks and things I've learned along the way. have something, we have a really fun, we have a really, really fun Sunday coming up this Sunday that I've been preparing for everyone. And there's going to be like, you know, I try and introduce new forms of like media and ways to interact with the world. And again, we can use technology to do that. And one thing we actually talked about last time we recorded this that we did text in our group chat about is that we really want to do a spooky movie.

polycule night virtually, which would be so fun. I have favorite spooky movies, but Cady, I'm interested. What are some of your favorite spooky movies to watch during the season?

Cady Moore (16:09) Okay.

Absolutely, I, it's funny because just for a couple of like lore background shares, I, yeah, I'm historically a weenie. Like just an L7 weenie, a Dodger dog. And okay, I feel like I have two childhood stories to share before.

Sharilyn Wester (16:27) I love lore.

Cady Moore (16:45) of why

I did not watch scary movies until like the last like five years and I got into them because of The Witch which was what prompted this pivot is I made a reference to The Witch. ⁓ Actually I was telling Sharilyn that I have sex ed trivia next week on the day that this episode drops so if you listen to this in the morning and you go to trivia you get some help but ⁓ my image round is called the Monster Match and I'm giving a monster from different movies.

and you have to name what type of monster it is and like what piece of media it's from. And I was talking about The Witch, so like that is the movie that like ushered me back into scary movies because my two horror stories are both related to sleepovers, which is fucking crazy that any parent, and I'm not trying to criticize parenting choices here, but I totally am. Well, one was not really their fault, but. ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (17:31) love that.

Cady Moore (17:40) We had two friends who had birthdays in October. These were two different years. One, I was like 11 and the other I was like 13. The first one we went to a haunted house and it was one of the haunted houses where they can touch you. so fucking Freddy Krueger comes up and like gets his nails all in my face and I like lose my fucking shit. And I did not sleep. I called my parents at 2 a.m. to come pick me up and I didn't have another sleepover for besides at my best friend's house for years.

because it just ruined me. ⁓ And then similarly, we watched a scary movie in their barn and we watched Darkness Falls, which I don't even remember the context of. And I don't even think there is a hockey mask involved, but her fucking little brother puts a hockey mask and a cape on and stands in front of the projector. And we all turn around and we're like, my God, I'm freaking the fuck out. And so I had to go home. And so like, just, thanks to fucking boys,

Sharilyn Wester (18:32) Yeah.

Cady Moore (18:36) I blame the boys. I did watch The Ring with a high school boyfriend and I don't really, we didn't watch, we were making out the whole time. Yeah.

Sharilyn Wester (18:38) It's always the boys.

Yeah, exactly. Yeah, honestly. Yeah, it's the horror

movie was just the vehicle in which to get some action. We all know that. I'm so scared. Hold me.

Cady Moore (18:54) Exactly,

She's coming out of the well!

Sharilyn Wester (19:00) My nipples are hard. Yeah, exactly. No, it's not funny that you

say that. I don't think I shared this last time we recorded, but I also have a traumatizing sleepover experience with scary movies. I was five or six, I think I was like six, six or seven, and I was at my best friend's house. And for some reason, her mom let us watch The Bride of Chucky, ⁓ which is so, six or seven. was like, it was so young.

Cady Moore (19:12) my god.

all of these in six or seven? Oh my God.

Sharilyn Wester (19:28) I of course got so scared, this is terrifying. It was also very graphic, I think I saw boobies for the first time in that movie with someone getting like shredded by a mirror. It was horrible. Called my mom to pick me up, had nightmares about it for years. Finally after like two years I was cured, I was okay, I was a grown woman. I was eight years old now, I was so much bigger. We went to Universal Studios in California, we went to like...

Cady Moore (19:31) Yeah!

was cured.

Sharilyn Wester (19:54) the scary compound that you can walk through where people also grab you and touch you. Again, re-scarred me, re-traumatized me. And so I'm the same way. I didn't like a lot of scary movies. I watched some, ⁓ but I'm into spooky movies. don't like gore. don't like violence. Spooky is okay. As long as it's spooky, it's the shit. Yeah, exactly. So you were talking about the witch being really formative for you in getting back into them.

Cady Moore (19:56) Oh yeah. Uh huh.

Yeah.

Yes, spooky. Yep. Spooky, spooky's the shit. Yeah.

Yeah, well, so

The Witch is yeah, The Witch is like what like ushered me back in. I've always one of my hyper fixations has always been ⁓ the Salem witch trials. And so like I consume any and all media related to it. And so I watched The Witch. Yeah, it totally has. I'm like, I have a couple books on my shelf from from when I was a kid that I'm like, this is crazy work.

Sharilyn Wester (20:29) Yes.

Even as a kid.

Yeah,

yeah going from like that to like the tudor era. It's amazing that your family your parents didn't catch autism earlier. I'm just gonna say it Yeah ⁓

Cady Moore (20:47) It's a pipeline.

I don't understand. really like, truly, truly don't understand how, I

mean, I do, it's because I'm a woman, because I'm a girl and girls don't have autism. But ⁓ yeah, no, we definitely don't poop. Never, never. ⁓ So yeah, so The Witch like ushered me into like my like scary movie, the witch and like, honestly, another podcast that I listened to, they were talking about scary movies and I was like,

Sharilyn Wester (20:59) Yeah, exactly. No, of course not. Or poop. Famously.

Cady Moore (21:18) like this could be, this could be fun. Like let's, let's try. I like spooky things. And so I started, this is back in I think like I could go back and look in my bullet journals, but I think it was like 2019 or 2020 ⁓ when I started making every year, I would make a watch list of these are the movies to watch. And at first it started off with like the classics, like feeling like I needed to see these classics. And then I quickly realized like I'm not into a lot of the classics. ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (21:24) Yeah.

Mmm.

Yeah.

Cady Moore (21:45) And so like, yeah, my sweet spot really is like gothic horror. Like we watched Crimson Peak the other day and the whole time I was just like, ⁓ this is, I know this is on your list so I won't talk too much about it, but like Haunting of Hill House, like I love, I love gothic horror spookiness. ⁓ So The Witch kind of ushered me back into adulthood, but I will say that one movie that I watch every year for Halloween,

and is from childhood is Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School, which is like, it's from the 80s. It's a boarding school for monsters, for the daughters of monsters. So it's like all the famous monsters have their kids. Yeah, it's a, and it's so fucking good. ⁓ And so I watch it though. Now I'm thinking, I'm like, I don't have a DVD player. Like I need to figure out how I'm going to watch it this year now that I moved. Cause I'm like, shit, I don't know. I don't have a DVD player. ⁓

Cady Moore (22:40) So that's a childhood one I love. ⁓ I know that you, yeah, pirate it. I mean, probably. I just need someone to teach me how. I don't know how to do things. I'm just a girl. Help me. Help me. I know that you have a childhood one that is related to another, I guess more adolescent, that's related to mine. So why don't you share about that?

Sharilyn Wester (22:50) I'm just a girl.

So mine is The Haunting. It's, think, I can't remember what year was. I think it's late 90s, early 2000s. It has Catherine Zeta-Jones, ⁓ Owen Wilson. It is based, yes. ⁓ It is based on The Haunting, 1999. Okay, yes. It is based on the novel Haunting Hill House by Shirley Jackson. ⁓ So that was a favorite. That one is also very spooky. ⁓

Cady Moore (23:10) I can Google it.

Sharilyn Wester (23:28) I, and from that, The Haunting of Hill House, like the series by Mike Flanagan is also one of my all time favorites. It means so much to me. There's a couple others. So the Haunting, oh, The Grudge and its counterpart, Ju-On, the Japanese version. I was obsessed with those. Me and my friends would watch them. Very, very spooky. And I also was just like obsessed with Japanese culture at the time. That was when I got really into anime in like sixth grade. So I loved these.

Cady Moore (23:35) Mm-hmm. So good.

Sharilyn Wester (23:58) These don't really count as Halloween, but Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned, if you know, know, Hot Vampire sex A Vampire's, ⁓ old, historic, like those are just incredible. The 90s one with Tom Cruise, Vampire Anything. Yeah, and similarly, we did. We're both Vampire girlies Team Edward, like I love, I love the undead. ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (24:27) And with that also, one of my new favorite series that I love binging ⁓ every like autumn slash spooky season is Discovery of Witches. I love the books. I love the series. And you and I actually talked about doing a reread of the books because there's a new one out now, which I'm really excited for, which focuses more on the witches. I love all of those. And then like, know, classic Casper and shit I grew up watching. ⁓ The cutiest, yeah, I loved those. I remember ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (24:56) trying to watch the ring but not really seeing it because I was doing this. and the reason for that is because I was trick or treating with my kids. And so I didn't want to be too over the top. ⁓ And the funny thing is like my boobs are so big that I didn't even have to have them out like Big Naturals Gandalf as you see them often. I had the robe, but like these tits won't quit. so they were, they're yeah, they're cumbersome. And so I did have the Gandalf robe.

Sharilyn Wester (29:30) I had the beard and I had very like smoky hot eye makeup. And then I had ⁓ big black boots and fishnets underneath. like passing by people when they saw me, they're like, Gandalf. And then I would like lift up my ⁓ robe a little bit to like flash them a little bit of ankle and they'd be like, ⁓ sexy Gandalf. And I was like, yeah. So I formally called myself Gandalf the slay instead of Gandalf the gray. Gandalf the slay Yes. Yes.

Cady Moore (29:54) Yes, that's what it was. I was trying to remember. I was like, it wasn't Big Naturals Gandalf. It was

Sharilyn Wester (29:59) One year I went to Sebastian, which was fun too. Go ahead.

I really want to. got a Patrick Star costume two years ago, put it on, it inflated for like 10 minutes and then the fan died on it. It's funny because I was inside it and it slowly deflated around me like a used condom and I was like fighting my way out of it. And then I went to put it on again this past year, last year, and I brought it and everything and the new fan that I had gotten replaced for it, I didn't have on me. I had forgotten it at home. was like, ugh.

Sharilyn Wester (30:39) So I still have it, it's under my bed. This year might be the year, who knows? You know, yes, I do really wanna be Patrick Star with the boots. I have been Sebastian when my babies were very little. My youngest was really fat and so I got her a flounder outfit and she was a really cute, fat little flounder. And my older child who was about four at the time wanted to be Ariel and so I was Sebastian.

Cady Moore (30:43) Give the people what they want! Sludgy Patrick Star!

Sharilyn Wester (31:07) but it was very like I was a tired mom. So I put on this like baggy red dress and I had two red oven mitts as my clothes. And that was me, Sebastian. was, there's no exactly, I'm serving crab. ⁓ And then one of my favorites when I was younger as a kid was I was a bounty hunter. And my dad took me shopping for costumes. It was really close to Halloween.

Cady Moore (31:14) You're like, I'm Sebastian. There's no serving cunts this year. I'm serving small child. ⁓

Sharilyn Wester (31:32) and I wanted a Star Wars costume. And he looked at the Padme Amidala one, he's like, do you want to be this? And it was cool. It had the big wig with like her big like swoopy hair. And it was the white face with the red gown. you, thank you. And at the time I was very much not into femme stuff. was like very, like I had cut my hair very short. I dressed in baggy clothes. was very much what people called me a tomboy. We know I wasn't a tomboy. was just a girl who just liked what I liked.

Cady Moore (31:42) Well, he would have been great amidala.

Sharilyn Wester (32:01) But I wanted to be a bounty hunter, so we got a bounty hunter costume, but it was too small. And so when I put it on, there was runs all up the back of it and it was tight and I was a chunky kid. Like this was pretty scary. ⁓ And my dad, because we didn't have a lot of money, was like, sorry kiddo, like that's what you get, you gotta wear it. And so I had to wear that to school and I did have a cool mask and like a little ray gun, which was fun. ⁓

Cady Moore (32:18) You gotta wear it.

Sharilyn Wester (32:25) But I remember crying at school just being like, my costume doesn't even fit me properly and I can't get a new one. But I mean, that was really cool. And for me, was like, girl, like iconic. Okay, we're like in fourth grade and we're like choosing to be a bounty hunter. I'm a bounty hunter. That's pretty fucking cool from Star Wars. So those are some of my favorites. What about you? I love your answers because they're spectacular.

And I also love it because ⁓ one of the costumes that I'm really excited to do in the future, I just started playing Octopath Traveler with Navarre our hinge partner.

Cady Moore (34:00) ⁓ And the character that I'm playing at is Primrose and she's a dancer and I really want to do a Primrose Aizelhart costume and it is very I dream of Jeannie-esque. ⁓ I don't want to like be culturally insensitive, but like the way I describe it is like a belly dancer kind of outfit. ⁓ So either way, that was I dream of Jeannie was was one I loved. Yeah.

Megara was always one of my favorites and I was her as both a kid and then I also dressed up as her like two years ago. ⁓ Yeah, which was like very fun, full circle, like to get to do it all over again. And like, you know, my mom did her best, but like she was not a hairstylist. So like me as Megara was me with my like normal blonde curly hair. Like I did not get a wig. My mom was not fucking around with wigs. ⁓

Cady Moore (34:53) Last year, speaking of wigs, last year, I went as Manon Blackbeak from Throne of Glass. ⁓ I got black leather armor. I did a phenomenal job with the costume. However, I, in a very uncharacteristic Cady move, because normally I try everything on, which reminds me I still need to try on my costume from this year to make sure that it fits. But that's the next bullet point.

Cady Moore (35:24) So I went as Manon Blackbeak but I didn't open the wig until day of and realized it was lace front. And not only day of, like two hours before the party was starting, because I host every year. Well, every year that I've been in a house. And so I frantically FaceTimed Sharilyn and she was like, do you have hairspray? Do you have gel? And I was like, no, don't have wig glue. I was like, I have nothing. I have eyelash glue. And so I used eyelash glue to put on my lace front wig.

Sharilyn Wester (35:45) We glue.

Cady Moore (35:53) ⁓ and you know, it wasn't terrible. Like it's fine. You can thank you. just, I just need to figure out how to get the eyelash glue off of the lace front now, or if it means that I'm going to have to get a whole new wig.
